This Incline Village condo is located just ¼ mile from a private beach and is perfect for a Tahoe lifestyle. The new homeowner contacted Holm Construction for a complete interior renovation on a condo that met HOA guidelines.
The condo tested negative for asbestos and we obtained a Washoe Building, IVGID and TRPA permit.
The mudroom is a welcoming entry for the condo. We designed a bench with shoe storage and jacket hooks. The wall was renovated with carpentry details and paneling. The client wanted to incorporate the same detailing in the dining room and living room.
In order to make room for additional storage and laundry space, we reframed the first level of the home. The electrical panel was upgraded and hard wired smoke detectors were installed. The client requested a homeowner’s closet that could lock from the outside. We built a maple folding shelf in the laundry room.
We built a six panel barn door.
The master bathroom floor was updated with Dal Tile. The shower was renovated with new tile, a seat, alcove and a brushed stainless glass enclosures door.
2 bedrooms and bathroom:
The bathroom and the 2 bedrooms were also updated.
We installed vinyl Blackstone Oak flooring in the hallways, stairs and all second level rooms.
We installed new Glacier White Wellborn maple cabinets. The kitchen was updated with honed Absolute Black granite countertops, a stainless steel farmer’s sink and a new subway tile backsplash. Four KitchenAid appliances were installed. Donny built a custom made breakfast nook.
The clients requested that we keep the open floor plan. The kitchen flows into the living room with a deck.
