In 1999 my wife Sara and I moved from New England to the most beautiful place on Earth, Lake Tahoe. Here, working with several contractors, I have learned the trades from the ground up eventually running jobs. With the encouragement of neighbors I became licensed and Holm Construction was born. Today, Tahoe is home. The lake, mountains, and community combine to provide a phenomenal lifestyle. I take enormous pride in my company and the work that we produce. My personal conviction of constant improvement had led to a way of doing business that, sadly, is not commonplace in our industry. I attempt to provide transparency in my estimates. I will not leave out items to be the low bidder. If the job is not complete how are we making your home better? I will be available by phone and email. We are building your dreams, how could this be possible without constant communication? It isn’t. Quality work should be expected and prepare for your expectations to be exceeded. As we complete each project we ask ourselves what we could have done to improve quality, speed or jobflow. The results of this constant self analysis are refined systems that ensure that your project will be done correctly, on time and at the right price.
Holm Construction specializes in working with out of town homeowners. We often will have an initial consultation, a production selection meeting and then do not see the homeowner again until the project is complete. We keep communication flowing through phone calls, emails, and text messages. Photos are provided on a regular basis. We have had several clients who we never met in person until the completion of the project. Are you a skier and don’t come up much in the summer or do you love the lake and golf? We can schedule your work to cause the least amount of disruption to your vacation schedule.
